CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting new opportunity for a Tool Maker for a well-established high precision mold making company in Danvers, MA. This is a direct hire role offering excellent compensation and full benefits package. Come join a great team!

The candidate will be responsible for support of the plastic injection molding processes.


• Review and prepare molds for production and work with production and engineering in improving and resolving mold problems.
• Analyzes specifications, lay out material, sets up and operates machine tools, hand tools and other comparable tool room equipment for the purpose of fabricating materials for the assembly and/or repair of metalworking dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
• Responsible for trouble shooting on the shop floor, preventative maintenance and other Tool and Die Maker activities as needed.
• Block Molding Equipment maintenance and repair
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and mold issues
• Make repairs on parts and supplies required for repairs
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on any required molds
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and properly documented
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper mold operation
• Troubleshoots existing dies and fixtures when quality issues occur sometimes while the tool is in production.
• Review specifications such as blue prints, sketches, models and/or verbal descriptions, to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate the parts.
• Measures, marks and scribes metal stock for machining.
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, mills, saws and grinders, EDM’s, etc. When complete, verifies the conformance of parts to specifications.
• Other duties as assigned, as needed, to satisfy customer production/need

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma required
• A minimum of a 2 year technical degree with an emphasis in Tool and Die or Machining is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing tool room environment required
