Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Shift Supervisors in South Plainfield, NJ. In this role you will be the front line for customers. It is important to be professional, respectful, courteous, responsive, and friendly at all times. It is imperative that the CSR perform all assigned tasks in a timely manner, serves as a resource and supports the team as necessary.

This is a Direct Hire Position.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Recognize and solve problems affecting production including schedules, staff, waste and quality
  • Run plants in a smooth and cost-efficient manner
  • Ensure Employees are following safety and quality procedures and that equipment is properly operated
  • Ensure that employees are performing up to expectations in both productivity and waste
  • Counsel and correct improper techniques that are affecting productivity and quality
  • Report issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work 12-hour shift, standing for long periods of time.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
