Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Perform basic physical & basic wet chemistry on all incoming materials
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, cGMP, SOP’s, and good housekeeping policy/practices
• Adheres to all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations as applicable
• Ensure that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance
• Control and Track raw material standards - create and update standards as needed
• Perform aesthetic, physical inspections, and any other special tests
• Must be capable of coordinating/ pulling samples for testing as required by the product specification for outside Analytical and Micro Laboratory testing.
• Perform calibrations of instrumentation as needed.
• Conduct various complex and simple analytical tests on various samples
• Maintain written record of inspection results on appropriate forms - input final status in computer system.
• Maintain Good Laboratory Practices.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of chemistry experience in a manufacturing or lab environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Ability to speak, write and understand English - bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
• Ability to read and understand USP Analytical methods and product specifications

Hours/Shifts:

• 1st shift Monday to Thursday 730am to 6pm
