CoWorx Staffing Services has new a new opportunity for Quality Assurance in the Naugatuck, CT area!

In this position, you will provide inspection support for the Quality Department. Must have experience within AS9100 or ISO9000!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of electrical and mechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies of fiber optic and copper components. These products are used in military and government applications.
• Must be able to ensure compliance to applicable specifications and customer contract requirements.
• This position is also responsible for independently resolving product quality issues with engineering, manufacturing, etc. and all applicable customer requirements.
• Aid in receiving Inspection activities.
• Support the site in AS 9100 assessment audits.
• Other tasks that may arise in the department, including tooling verification.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Experience inspecting products used in military and government applications is required
• Ability to interpret and understand drawings and/or customer specifications and contractual requirements
• Experience working within an AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Environment a must!
• Quality Control or Production related experience with Fiber Optic or copper cables desired
• Experience inspecting products used in military and government applications is required
