Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Group Leads with a major manufacturer in Pelham, NH. In this role you will be responsible for -under general supervision- leading the daily shift schedule, activities and workflow in the Assembly and or Molding production areas to ensure efficient manufacturing and assembly of plastic components for the medical device industry.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee work flow and assign jobs to floor personnel
  • Respond to and troubleshoot resourcing issues
  • Ensure floor personnel are properly trained on Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system
  • Audit and monitor quality of manufactured components 
  • Schedule and monitor lunches and rest periods
  • Monitoring and data entry of component quantities, scrap quantities, and defect codes
  • Maintain accurate  manufacturing documentation
  • Coordinates request for manufacturing assistance outside of the department
  • Attend meetings related to department or production, as required
  • Ensure employees are properly trained, certified, and following required standards
  • Assign cleaning tasks including vacuuming and trash disposal
  • Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures
  • May provide input and / or participation in employee performance reviews, disciplinary actions and /or other employee related matters as requested
  • May be responsible for material allocation of jobs to be performed

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of manufacturing related experience in the plastics or biomedical industry
  • Ablity to read drawings, blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
  • Must follow good documentation and manufacturing practices
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, email, Word and Excel) are required
