Job Description

Position Summary:

The Payroll Tax Administrator’s responsibilities include ensuring proper withholding taxes are setup and withheld in accordance with all federal, state and local tax laws.  Review weekly reports and make the necessary corrections to the system.  Support the day-to-day function of payroll administration including, but not limited to processing.

Key Responsibilities: 

•         Analyze payroll tax data reports for Talent and Internal payrolls. Payroll data includes accurate deduction tax setups are in place for tax sheltered codes such as medical, 401k etc.

•         Assist with setting up pay codes to ensure they adhere to proper tax withholding requirements.

•         Complete tax adjustments on a weekly basis.

•         Maintain knowledge of annual tax changes and tax withholding laws and provide system support to implement.

•         Assist with year-end processing of W-2’s for all EIN’s.

•         Assist with the day-to day payroll function and cross train to provide team support.

Job Requirements

About You:

•         3+ years Payroll Tax experience utilizing in-house and 3rd party systems.

•         Experience with large multi-companies (FEINs - legal entities), multi-jurisdiction payroll and tax is required

•         Knowledge of U.S. wage & hour laws, garnishments, and payroll tax withholding rules at the federal, state and local level.

•         Understanding of Management Reporting processes

•         Advanced Microsoft Excel skill as well as proficiency in MS suite applications

•         Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains accounting software preferred

•         Advanced verbal and written communications skills

•         Strong attention to detail

•         The ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and employee information

•         The ability to work hand in hand with accountants regarding payroll inquires
