Job Description

 CoWorx Staffing has temp-perm opportunities for Material Operations Associates in Bethel, CT. In this role you will execute key phases of high precision tube and wire manufacturing including, but not limited to, tube and bar drawing, heat treating, precision cutting and centerless grinding.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Assist management with setting schedules and priorities
  • Assist maintenance and engineering with identifying areas of improvement
  • Manage the set up and operation of machines 
  • Set-up and maintain wire/tube processing equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Inspect drawing dies and tooling before and after each use
  • Help reduce scrap and increase productivity
  • Ensure production/development paperwork conforms to GMP
  • Enforce line clearance procedure
  • Track work order status and flow

Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent 
  • Must have strong math skills
  • Must have Machine operating experience 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English
