Role and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot/ repair of automated and manual equipment
- Build and maintain knowledge of procedures, standards, and common issues
- Use measuring devices such as micrometers, tape measures, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, and multimeters
- Respond to requests in a timely manner and provide realistic timelines
- Perform required planned maintenance as well as emergency repair
- Identify replacement components through reading nameplates, manufacturer’s product sheets, or OEM equipment manuals
- Follow inventory management principles
- Document work performed- account for all time and materials via work notifications in SAP
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies
- Provide root cause and counter measures to equipment issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Maintenance Technician preferred
- Technical school preferred.
- Understanding of electrical controls & power distribution
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Understanding of electric motors, AC/DC, servo, 3 phase, and motion control systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet goals and deadlines
- Flexibility to work Overtime as needed
- LOTO training
- PLC, experience preferred
