Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Machine Tenders in Chicopee, MA. In this role you will be responsible for performing diversified manual and mechanical duties to operate machinery and to assemble a variety of medical products.

Job Requirements


Primary Duties:

  • Load raw materials onto machine jigs, fixtures, dies, or other fittings and actuate machine control
  • Remove product from fixtures and strip off waste material
  • Perform hand assembly operations such as inserting valves, threading items onto spring frames, inserting products into packaging materials, etc.
  • Perform visual inspection of items to ensure proper seals, hole locations, etc.
  • Perform routine raw material pre-inspections and post-operation product inspections
  • Notify supervisor of any product defects, quality deviations, and/or equipment malfunctions
  • Observe clean room procedures and utilize special garments

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in clean room environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to utilize hand tools and other assembly equipment
