Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is currently seeking experienced equipment operators for Laser Welder roles in Bethel, CT. In this role you will be responsible for the set up, operation, and maintenance of production equipment.

Job Requirements



Primary Duties:

  • Set up and operate several Laser cutting/welding machines/blasting machines used in the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain equipment and tooling. Assist the Lead supervisor to schedule and set priorities.
  • Manage the set up and operation of multiple Laser cutting/welding machines for maximum efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Inventory tools and fixtures.
  • Work with logistics personnel to meet corporate on-time delivery, scrap and shipment goals.
  • Other responsibilities as required by Lead or Manufacturing Manager.
  • Perform in-process inspections and analyze data required by work instructions, routers, and other specifications

Qualifications:

  • Technical school or college degree preferred
  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to perform required inspections using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and other tools
  • Experience with microscope
  • Experience with Windows based PC’s and their related applications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write technical and project reports, business correspondence, and process documentation.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, clients, customers, etc.
