Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has a new opportunity for an Import Accounts Payable Coordinator in Cypress, CA. In this role you will be responsible for processing of import related billings, truck freight, courier and miscellaneous charges - This will include auditing of charges, assignment of appropriate GL and cost center for each charge. You will also be responsible for maintaining digital and physical files related to the Import Department's accounts.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Process import related billings and charges
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital records
  • Process all coded invoices through the ADP accounting system a
  • Assist Import A/P Coordinator
  • Maintain monthly reports 
  • Pull documents and scan for JSOX and outside audit requirements
  • File import department records
  • Box files and prepare them for movement to our offsite storage facility
  • Maintain logs and paperwork for record keeping
  • Locate files and pull back boxes as needed for requests from Legal


  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • General office and clerical skills required
  • Logistics/Import knowledge would be a plus
  • Should be computer literate and familiar with Excel and Microsoft office
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Be detail oriented
  • Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Hours Available:

  • 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
