Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is hiring HVAC Technicians Newington, NH. In this role you will be responsible for a wide variety of skilled tasks involved in the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment throughout the facility. All tasks must be performed safely, in accordance with experience, training, instructions and guidance from the maintenance supervisor or designee This position performs duties with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems
  • Repair and replace worn or damaged parts or equipment
  • Repair or replace low and high pressure refrigerant lines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions
  • Calibrate thermostatic controls
  •  Identify parts required for repairs and provides information to supervision
  • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on units and maintain chilled water and cooling tower systems
  • Adjust and maintains internal electrical and electronic control systems
  • Clean coils and blowers and checks motors and belt tensions.
  • Complete electronic or paper maintenance records as required by city, state and federal regulations
  • Safely operate various hand tools, power tools, and powered industrial equipment such as fork lifts, aerial lifts and pallet jacks
  • Assist in planning and designing of new installations 
  • Respond to multiple assignments in a timely and efficient manner


  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Completion of HVAC technical training certificate program.
  • Four years of journeyman experience in heating and air-conditioning, two of which were spent in commercial or industrial HVAC
  • Possession of an EPA Refrigerant Technician license preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-directed with high level of initiative and strong work ethic required
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, work instructions and blueprints
  • Overtime may be required, based on business need; regular attendance required
  • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Computer skills, including familiarization with Microsoft Office, is strongly preferred
