Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Saco, ME. You will perform administrative tasks to support new hire processing and orientation process, benefits administration, worker's compensation, performance evaluation, and the leave of absence process.

COVID considerations: - This is an onsite position, no options for remote. - Office is configured to allow for social distancing - Face mask is required - We will provide masks and sanitizer 

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Provide other departments with essential new hire information
  • Create and maintain personnel files that comply with state, federal, and COA regulations
  • Maintain HRIS information, including processing and entering of all relevant information
  • Prepare letters for Other Qualified Healthcare Professionals (and other certifications)
  • Help with coverage of the human resources phone line, e-mail account, and HR Service Desk
  • Coordinate information between multiple departments

Job Requirements:

  • HR department experience preferred
  • Customer Service skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize to meet goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision after training
  • Problem solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple phone lines
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Experience recruiting/staffing and benefits administration experience preferred
