Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Forklift Operators in Sugar Hill , GA. In this role you will be responsible for operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment, and materials.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Fill customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck in a fast paced environment
  • Use an RF scan gun to determine proper product to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves or conveyors
  • Assist Receiving Department with unloading new arrival merchandise from trucks 
  • Assist inventory and returns department with day to day operation
  • Assemble component parts to build various types of lockers and cabinets
  • Utilize various manual, air, and electrical hand tools in an efficient and safe manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment 
  • Previous experience utilizing an RF Scanner 
  • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings
  • Ability to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs on a continuous basis
  • Ability to stand, walk, pull, and bend 100% of the day on a continuous basis 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Hours Available:

  • 7:00am-3:30pm M-F
  • 12:30pm-9:00pm M-F
  • 5:00pm-1:30am Sunday -Thursday
