Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is looking for Forklift Operators in Mundelein, IL. In this role you will be responsible for routine loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving procedures.

Job Requirements

Job Duties:

  • Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
  • Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment including pallet jack, forklift and by hand
  • Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
  • Work in a safe, efficient manner
  • Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments
  • Work on a dock for extended periods of time

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations with or without calculator
  • Availability to work variety of shifts
  • Forklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers
  • Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50lbs) frequently and over 70lbs occasionally 
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may become slippery

Hours/Shifts:

  • 11pm-8am
  • Will receive paid training on schedule:
  • Week 1: 8am-2pm 
  • Week 2: 12pm -6am 
  • Week 3: Start regular shift
