Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Electronics Testers in Marlborough, MA. In this role you will be responsible for testing electronic assemblies and components.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Review manufacturing traveler instructions for electrical requirement.
  • Basic knowledge of power including 1-phase, 3-phase, high voltage, audio, high frequency and Ferroresonant transformers. Test single and three-phase transformers and inductors in accordance with test specifications. 
  • Ensure that all electrical measuring equipment such as digital voltmeter, frequency meter, Inductance Bridge, digital ohmmeter, auto-multiple tester, etc. are calibrated.
  • Ensure that each part conforms to drawing electrical requirements.
  • Perform pre-pot electrical verification prior to encapsulation parts.
  • Perform quality conformance inspection for all completed parts to verify conformance to specification.
  • Initiate a non-conformance report each time a part is found non-conformance to the requirement.
  • Knowledge in measuring electrical parameter using an oscilloscope, wattmeter, magnetic analyzer, digital multimeter, etc.
  • Must read and understand the electrical schematic diagram.
  • Performed electrical and mechanical measurements of the in-process unit and create test data of the final product.
  • Maintain and clean areas around test equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering educational background a must.
  • Must have the knowledge of basic electricity both alternating and direct current.
  • Must have the basic knowledge of how to use various type of test equipment such multi-meter, ohmmeter, dielectric withstanding volt meter, Digital Multi Meters,      Megohmmeter etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills, including decimals, fractions, Ohms law,and unit of measure conversions.
  • Ability to read and understand test specifications.
  • Ability to use of rulers, measuring tapes, scales and calipers.
  • Basic knowledge of power including 1-phase, 3-phase, high voltage, audio, and high frequency
