Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Blending Operators in Edison, NJ. In this role you will engage in various production jobs such as setting up, operating, and tending equipment that blends and mixes ingredients. You will also be responsible for preparing products according to prescribed formulas and inspecting finished product.

You will work directly with a production lead and supervisor, as well as with QC and QA for product and environmental approval purposes.

Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

  • Fill out labels with relevant data (Blend #, Work Order #, and date)

  • Fill blend samples and route to QC lab at the time of production 

  • Ensure all documents are signed and initialed correctly

  • Stage proper weights of raw materials 

  • Retrieve necessary materials from warehouse

  • Inspect all incoming materials for damage or discrepancy

  • Set up, operate, clean, and maintain equipment

  • Understand equipment used for milling and screening raw materials

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in nutraceutical or solid dosage manufacturing
  • Must be able to move 50lbs 
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and stretch for extended time intervals 
  • Must have good oral communication skills 
  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions in English. 
  • Must be able to perform mathematical calculation 
  • 1-2 years of warehouse or manufacturing preferred
