Job Description

CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Assemblers – Solderers in Marlborough, MA. In this role you will be responsible for the assembly of various types of low voltage and high voltage transformers.

Job Requirements


Primary Duties:

  • Assemble electronic components (soldering is an essential part of the job)
  • Solder Lead wires
  • Test electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Strip and crimp wires
  • Reject and return unacceptable materials
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and returning products for re-work
  • Prepare coil - wrapping with specified tape, stripping and pre-tinning
  • Clean tinned wires with approved cleaning solvent
  • Review manufacturing traveler for assembly instructions and special requirement
  • Clean solder connections with approved cleaning solution
  • Inspect solder connections under 10x-20x magnification for workmanship
  • Submit completed lot to their supervisor for visual inspection and product verification
  • Maintain and clean work station and surrounding areas

Qualifications:

  • Ability to Read blueprints
  • J-Std -001 Certification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods
