Job Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Data entry in multiple software programs - recognize and reconcile any inconsistences
• Organize and prioritize functions on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently,
• Proactively solicit required documents/clearances
• Create and submit sworn statements and invoices to clients
• Monitor accounts receivable and handle any invoicing issues
• Obtain all required documentation to close out projects
• Assess and pursue opportunities for maximization of client billing
• Ensure monthly pay application process is managed properly, taking the process from pencil draw to final payment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or some college courses in accounting or business preferred
• Experience with Job Costing/Project Billing
• Understanding of AIA forms/documents and lien waivers
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and ability to learn other programs
• At least 2 years in Construction and/or A/E environment.
• Thorough knowledge of standard contract terms including hourly, lumps sum, not-to-exceed, and their applications
• Understanding of partial and final waivers, along with supplier waivers
• Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
