CoWorx Staffing Services has partnered with a nationwide logistics company in Sandston, VA who is looking for Material Handlers and Forklift Operators.

These are temporary to hire opportunities ranging from $16.00 to $19.00 depending on shift and experience.

Responsibilities:

Material Handler:
• Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility
• Perform duties that may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Use a barcode scanner and warehouse management system
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

Forklift Operator:
• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Display a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving processes

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous warehouse experience desired
• Previous forklift certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks, required to be considered for Forklift Operator
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Other Information:

Schedules available:
-Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday – 6am to 4:30pm
-Monday through Friday – 7:00am to 3:30pm or 4:30pm to 1:00am.
