CoWorx Staffing Services is looking for 3rd shift Production Associate in Warwick, RI area

In this position you will be loading chip capacitors and resistors into waffle trays. This includes equipment set-up and calibration and using hand tools to move small parts from tape to waffle trays. The Manufacturing Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate.

Responsibilities:

• Process work orders through the cell in accordance with the daily schedule.
• Responsible for proper set-up and operation of automated equipment.
• Use learned troubleshooting techniques to maintain equipment production output.
• Use a microscope to perform basic visual inspection of pieces to prevent load defects and confirm orientation.
• Use hand tools, such as vacuum tip wand, to manually maneuver pieces from tape to waffle trays.
• Strictly adhere to documented processes and procedures.
• Completely and accurately record data in the appropriate electronic production logs.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required.
• 2 + years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
• Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
• High School Diploma required
