CoWorx Staffing in Conjunction with a manufacturer of Specialist products, using carbon, advanced ceramics and composites, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team in Fairfield, NJ!

The position is Temp to Hire – the right candidate MUST have experience with Accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations and reporting including provisions, reserves, prepaids, intercompany.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for liabilities, inventories, inter-company transactions.
• Ensure timely, accurate submission of financial results to management.
• Prepare monthly financials and ad hoc reports, including weekly sales and margin reporting.
• Analyze financial information, verify and explain variances and results compared to historical data, budget or forecasts.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests and support.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• The right candidate MUST have experience with Accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Three plus years of accounting experience required.
• Proficiency using accounting software in an ERP environment.
