CoWorx has partnered with a worldwide leader in the Welding industry, who is looking to add Electromechanical Assemblers of various skill levels, to their team!

In this position you would be assembling large electrical, mechanical, and plumbing sub-assemblies. Experience in installing electrical components and reading mechanical and electrical drawings, is highly desired. Located in East Haven, CT, the payrate starts at $18, but there is flexibility on payrate depending on experience!

The schedule would be Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm and does require some flexibility to work occasional overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

– Perform rework of parts when necessary, including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting.
– Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections.
– Solder wires.
– Accurately complete assembly orders in the current routing time.
– Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
– Perform general housekeeping as required.
– Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
– Able to operate overhead crane.
– Able to operate power tools, i.e.: band saw, shear, hydraulic bender, drill press, table disk sander, etc.

Desired Background/Skills:

– High School Diploma or GED.
– Technical certifications or related training.
– Experience working with electrical/mechanical systems.

Other Information:

Schedule:
– 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays
– Pay: Flexibility depending on experience! Entry level starting at $18 per hour
