Job Description:

Location: Somersworth, New Hampshire

CoWorx is hiring footwear assemblers and stitching operators for our client in Somersworth, NH! We are looking for experienced stitchers to work at our show manufacturing site.

M-F 8am-4:30pm, weekends off!

Temp to permanent opportunity offering $18/hr, temp period of 90 days, and a $2 raise once converted permanently!

Responsibilities:

• Strong, efficient skill with industrial sewing machines is desired but not required
• Cutting, gluing and stitching provided footwear patterns
• Responsible for providing highest quality product
• Basic knowledge of the mechanics of stitching equipment, including replacing and changes out thread, needles and bobbin thread as needed
• Can identify errors, high attention to detail
• Capable of using relevant software as needed

Desired Background/Skills:

• Knowledge of, and ability to use, industrial sewing machines
• Hardworking and self-motivated, with an eagerness to learn and a Can-Do attitude
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn relevant software.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly accurate production facility
• Effectively communicates with the team members and management
• Ability to lift or move 30 pounds
