Job Description

CoWorx is currently seeking Production Tinters for new opportunities in the Decatur, GA area. In this role you will be primarily responsible for completing production batches by adjusting the color and all physical properties associated with the batch in accordance with formula and quality specifications.


You will be trained in the R&D Lab over a two week period. During this time you will learn how to identify and work with raw materials, processes, and formulas and how to use a Color Computer. You will also be trained in color matching, as well as gloss, pH, and viscosity adjustments.


Primary Duties:

  • Work with TA and QA Lab to ensure quality product is being produced
  • Work with the TA and help make batches when needed
  • Move mixing tank to locations in the tinting, staging, filling, and cleaning areas as needed
  • Clean mixing tank, work areas, and other areas around PPM


Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Industrial background preferred
  • Ability to work in high paced environment
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
  • Lifting up to 65lbs
  • Must be able to climb ladder or stairs and work in high places
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Dependable attendance
  • Flexibility to work overtime

Hours Available:

  • 1st Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm
  • 2nd Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am
  • Rotating schedule: Sun, Weds, then Mon, Tues, Fri & Sat
  • 2 weekends a month
  • Night shift will train on day for a few weeks before moving to the night hours.
